Hey Fam! Yes, the time is flying by. I can't believe that in another three weeks, I will leave the MTC. It has flown! The first week was the longest of my life, and now I can't get time to slow down. I made a list of things to tell you because every time I finish writing you, I remember that I forgot something. I use the Spanish word for ´I forgot´ quite often. Haha. Anyway, earlier this week there was a live broadcast to all the MTC´s worldwide and guess what... I am one of 4000 missionaries in MTC´s alone! NOT counting the field. That was not a typo, 4000! It is so crazy. I am loving every . . . well, most minutes of it. We got to go to the temple again today. It was amazing. I can barely go through a session in English, and the first time I didn't understand a word of Spanish, but this time I said a prayer and asked to understand the things that I had learned and to be able to know what was going on. It happened. I understood so much more of the session than I was able to before. The amount of Spanish or any language that any missionary has to learn in crazy, but even more crazy is that they are able to learn it so fast. We usually give five lessons a week to our various investigators and this week we were able to leave our scripts and dictionaries behind and to simply converse. It is so . . . I don't even have a word to call it. Moving ahead, I just want to reassure you that I haven't changed and become a graceful poised young woman yet. This week it has again rained a lot. When it rains a lot, the streets in the MTC become rivers, big rivers, and our shoes take a very long time to dry out. One night after eating dinner on our way back to the class room, we decided to run barefoot to avoid getting our shoes drowned and so that our hair and clothes wouldn't be completely soaked. You may doubt me, but here in the span of 50 yards at a dead sprint you can still come up soaked, so we had about a 30 yard sprint ahead of us. We took off our shoes and went for it. I was about half way there when I took a giant leap to avoid a large stream of water. I cleared it very successfully, so a few yards later I decided that I needed to do it again. I jumped again, but this time I biffed it hard! They told us we couldn't go swimming on our missions, but I am afraid I already broke that rule. I was soaked, head to toe! It was very attractive... Anyway, I am so so so so so thankful for a good rain jacket. Please tell Sarah (Thacker) to make sure she has one. Also, if ever sending a package, supposedly the trick is to glue pictures of Christ all over it. Apparently it is a proven method of getting things around South and Central America. I am sorry that I didn't get to ask about you guys, but my time is way over. I love you all! You should definitely visit Paraguay in a year and a half. Love you lots. Talk to you next week. Hermana Thacker
