One Happy Sister Missionary in Paraguay!

Monday, December 30, 2013

Hello Family!!!
I am still riding high after seeing your faces for Chirstmas! It was so awesome and everyone I talk to I have to tell how much different Mac looks and how beautiful my family is. Also, I show absolutely everyone my purete (awesome in Guarani) photo album. It is my absolute favorite. I carry it around everywhere, and everyone tells me that my sisters look like models and my parents are really young. Haha! I am going to start with Grandma Carrie, I LOVE MY NEW PAJAMAS! They are very cute and very comfy and clean... I love clean things.... Clean things are hard to find....haha! Oh and I also love my soccer jersey that you bought me... (nod nod wink wink)! I will send a picture. Oh, and could you tell Aunt Farrah that I love the scarf, my companion is amazed at the concept of a Chocolate Orange, and I never knew how much I would one day appreciate jelly beans, haha! My companion thinks it is so weird that we have beans that taste like everything under the moon.... she doesn't really like them... but more for me I guess! The stickers Grandma Thacker sent are already a hit. Love them! And the wipes..... lots and lots of alcohol and baby wipes. I love it! I have been using the wipes in the highway after I eat a mango or orange and my hands are dirty. They are perfect and they have a princess on front! Oh, and I received number one and number two. Grandma sent a lot... and I do mean a lot of itching cream.... My companion thinks we are crazy, but when it itches .... something has got to change! I also received the package from you guys.... I was soooooo soooo sooo excited! I would have never thought of CTR rings but all the other missionaries are jealous... Perfect Idea! I have been looking for kids who need one, haha! Also, thank you so so so so so much for the necklaces. I love mine and I was so happy when I saw that you sent something for my companion. Her family is really disfunctional, and she loves it. She hid it away and I asked her why? She is saving it for baptisms and Sundays. She is so afraid of losing it. She asked me to tell you thank you. Grandma also sent me a kite which she is very excited to use. I am not at all sure how you guys put so much in one box. The carmels are so good...and I died and went to heaven when I tried the jerky, haha! My campanion also thinks its weird that we actually enjoy the dried meet, haha. For them it is a little undesirable. The shirts all fit perfectly... and I love the pink one. I am wearing it today infact. The shoes are also perfect and sooo sooo comfortable! Although, I am following the advice from the tag and avoiding all escalators and moving walkways, haha! Thank you so much. I know that it was a lot to buy and to send, but I enjoyed it so much. Oh and thanks for sending lots of socks. Hermana Puma had hers disappear in the MTC, and you sent enough to share, especially because with the crocs I don't wear socks and my feet don't smell and they are miracle shoes! My favorite part is still the photo album and the letters. I carry it around 24/7. Oh, and mom, everyone brags on your wedding dress and the two of you in front of the temple. Thanks so much for everything. As usual there is more to write and no more time to write it, but know that I am very happy and very grateful. Thanks for all you guys do for me. I love you all and miss you bunches and wish you luck in everything. I´ll see you next Monday!!!
This is our Christmas tree! The other hermanas in the ward made it for us
while they were stuck inside for a day with a bad leg.

Here are the packages McKayla received! They made it in a lot better shape than expected!
