New Year!

Monday, January 6, 2014

First off.... Morgan Brewster asked me to chastise you because the blog isn't updated, but don't worry too much about that. I am sure Grandma Carrie feels very bad for the stress she is causing you. (In her email she said that you stress too much....I think you get that from your mom!) Anyway, the packages looked really good, all intact! Oh, and the pens are a hit. My companion takes hers everywhere. Haha, and they smell like the drink mixes! One of them broke open (which didn't make a mess, promise) but everything smells faintly of lemonade... I love it! On the Friday after Christmas we played volleyball, taught the latinos about white elephant gifts, played soccer, and climbed the inactive volcano ´Cerro Lambaré´ again, and ate Pizza Hut...... stuffed crust....bliss...

I am very happy to hear that the girls won their games. I miss being in shape! Is RaShea still loving it? How are things at the shop going? Did Dad really sell all the horses? I really enjoy my new companion. She is great. She is late for everything and walks really slow but we are learning! Haha, this week I was really mean and walked missionary pace and told her to keep or I´d write the President.... mean... but she walked faster. Not quite there yet.... but close, haha! She has been a saint in teaching me Spanish though. My grammer is WAY better, haha. I feel a lot more confident and I am learning tons of new words that have more common uses and not just for the gospel. Also....she is a fantastic cook! Yum!

As for mission goals...... I am not at all sure. The office won't tell us until they have received all the records and we sent those through the mailing system...which stinks....so.... I will let ya know. As for my roommates... I do hear from them occasionally. Kelsey seems to be enjoying the mission. Morgan has her call to Washington. Mo Merkey hasn't said much, mostly she justs asks questions. I am trying to squeeze more details out of her! Emily is about to get engaged... and Harley is running and running and running! UVU track season...

Oh, New Years was a blast. We spent it with Hermano Gonzalez and Hermana Alejandra. They are so fun!  Hermano Gonzalez´s brother just got back from a mission in Argentina and always asks to see my family pictures because he wants to marry DaNelle.... Watch out.... haha! Anyway, the week of Christmas was awful for lessons. No one had time, and I (in a moment of bad attitude) thought this week might be the same, but thankfully it was really good. We found a lot of new people to teach, 11 to be exact! Ana and Francisco are amazing. I love them to death. Yesterday we had a lesson with them and watched The Testaments. Right now we are trying to get their 12 and 14 year olds on board.... They don't really want to listen, but .....they will .... eventually! Haha! I don't have more time but I love you and miss you and appreciate you and I am cheering my siblings on in their games! Tell Nelle that I loved her newspaper article. Oh, and what scripture is Kinlee doing this week? Once again, thank you for everything. Love ya Voy a verle muy pronto! Casi.... haha Suerte y amor! oh, y exito!
New Years Eve with Hermana Puma and Hermano Gonzalez and Hermana Alejandra!
