I am so jealous. When are you taking me to Alaska? Haha! I missed you all a bunch this week. As for news, I am now in Nemby 1.3. There are 6 missionaries in our ward. It is crazy. I already like it though. It’s much bigger than Guarambare. I will miss Guarambare and Hermana Boley. I learned so much from her. She was a life saver after my last comp. :) We had too much fun together. Anyway, now I am with Hermana Lindsay from Merridian, Idaho and my Zone Leader in Elder Chelson from St. Anthony. I recognize the name... Which of the relatives lives there?
Oh, funny story. I didn’t know this before, but you know how when you want to scare someone so you pop out and say boo or argh! Anyway, those that speak Guarani, say Shaker! And so... here in Nemby they are quickly remembering my name because they say I am big and scary.... They are so blunt... thick skin! :) Anyway, I had a voice recording to send you, but the man in the internet place told me it won’t load because I have a virus...Life!
Anyway, we live on the fourth floor of a really nice apartment building with one of the hugest metal hobby shops I have ever seen. Our owner is tranquilino...which in English basically means... chilled out. He is so sweet to us. After lugging one of my suitcases up the stairs he decided that he was going to make a pulley system for our suitcases. There are 2 apartments on our floor. One is ours and one belongs to another set of sister missionaries. So he has hauled a bunch of suitcases... but he’s already welded it all up and it is ready to go. I am excited to use it.
Also, my apartment is fitness central. Four sister missionaries, three of whom are obsessed with loosing weight so that they can find men and impress their families when they get home... Then there’s me... I like baking! Joking, but seriously they run a couple miles in the morning and then run up our four flights of stairs 10 X! Che a ma nota.... (Guarani, for I am going to die)!

Moving on, we have already found lots of cool people here. I am super excited. Two single moms, a
young mother who ́s spouse is always gone and 2 teenage girls. Oh, then there is Daniel and Estelvina....
She is Catholic, he is curious, and they came to church! He is full of questions, especially about the Book
of Mormon. But they are both open and I have high hopes.
Oh...and I know I say this the first week of every change, but every time you leave to go to a new area, the other person (if they expect to leave) doesn’t buy food for the week. So when the new person gets there.... THEY STARVE! I am so excited to go grocery shopping. Hermana Amy Lindsay only eats Raman Noodles...
As for the last cool story, last Monday night Hermana Boley and I went back to visit a contact we had made a couple days earlier. They have money, but back to the story, she was really friendly and excited to talk to us. We sat down and after a minute or two we showed her the BOM... and she just went crazy! Evidently, her husband had lived in Argentina for a while and once when he was sick, two Elders visited him and gave him a BOM. Anyway, he only knew them for 2 or 3 weeks then he had to move back to Paraguay. Somewhere along the line he lost his BOM, but after marrying this girl, he had mentioned to her several times that if she ever saw a BOM to take it and read it because he had loved it. So, she was thrilled to have finally found one! I don’t know what will happen with her, but God plants seeds, we don’t always get to see them grow, but they are there waiting for water.
Time’s up. Love you all! It sounds like your trip was fun. Miss you. Send me more pictures and details. Love, Hermana Mick
