I live in Paraguay...where they burn the dirty diapers to fill the air with pleasant aromas, where the chickens sift through the burning trash for their daily bread. Where there is a church on every corner, where you have to pay to get baptized in the catholic church. Where it is extremely hot again, where we listened to Elder Bednar speak in Stake Conference. Where they bury people above ground, where I haven't seen carpet or crown molding in a year. Where Moto Choros come by and steal your bag. Where the people will give you absolutely anything and everything they have. Where they cook with bones. Where they make the time and let absolutely everyone who speaks of God into their homes. Where they almost all believe in Christ and know what happened to him. I live in Paraguay, where I open my window every morning and watch the sunrise and every night to look at the one star that I can see (it might be a satellite... I'm not sure) and talk to Heavenly Father about my day. I live where the church is growing soooo fast, where we see baptisms every weekend. Where there are churches that belong to Jesus Christ in nearly every city. Where everyone has a BOM in their home and has talked to the mormon missionaries at least once. I love where I am. They still have a long way to go, but we all do. For the most part, they know what is important. They have the family over for bbq every weekend. They work all week to pay for it. And if they can't pay for it, they still get together and they talk and drink Terere. I am still not completely sure that I've found what God wants me to do here, there is sooo much to do. But all the prophecies are coming true. The gospel is sounding in every ear! Have a good week! Good luck at school. LOVE YOU ALL!
