Thoughts from Conference...

First off... I just want to reassure you that the worms are as normal as zits. Well...almost! Anyway, I wrote a bunch of Conference notes to share with you guys. Our week appeared awesome. Everyone said they were going to come and get baptized, but when the hour arrived it was just us and our cake.... But we´ll get them next week. 

First off, I loved when they said we are like temples. We say it all the time, but the sister explained that   outside all the temples are different. They are all beautiful...but all different. But on the inside they have the same divine purpose and value.

I also loved the talk about the atonement. If you have something weighing you down, get rid of it. SOMEONE HAS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE!

Okay, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the talk about Joseph Smith. I am just finishing the book "Jesus the Christ", and I just read about the scorn and the false things they said about him. Listening to the talk reminded me about him and about some of the questions that my old friends used to have.... I wish I could go back and re-answer! Just because they sound crazy and everyone spoke badly of them doesn't mean they were wrong! Abinadi, Paul, Joseph, Christ.... They were all right in the end. 

Another, and especially for my lovely sisters and Bro!.... You won't be able to help those around you if your own testimony isn't solid! Look for scriptures you know are true and share them! So my sistas... I will be waiting to here about your scriptures and why you know they are true... You too parents! 

My favorite talk was Elder Jórg Klebingit...about Spiritual Confidence. I wrote down some questions Sunday before Conference and his talk answered about all of them. "Force a smile, gaze heavenward, and say, "Yes Father, I understand."  I am not going through a rough time, I promise. I just loved thinking about it that way

Next, we can't learn to love like Christ if we only love the members!  Ask God what he wants you to give. Walking where he walked isn't nearly was important as walking as he walked! TELL HIM EVERYTHING THAT CONCERNS YOU EVERYDAY! Write in your journals! We are all His disciples because we are all members of his Church...but we can all be more valiant disciples. 

I love you all so much! Thanks for all the emails. They mean the world and more. I love you forever and   always! Family Forever!

The baptism yesterday- Our investigators didn't show up. In all truth, there where more who didn't show up, than did...and that's saying something! Haha!
